How To Make A Fake Fireplace Out Of Wood

12 feet of 2-inch by 4-inch lumber
12 feet of 1-inch by 4-inch lumber
Wood screws
Wood glue
Sandpaper
Paint or stain (optional)

Once you have gathered your materials, you can begin assembling your fake fireplace. Start by cutting the 3/4-inch plywood to the following dimensions:

2 pieces 24 inches by 48 inches (sides)
1 piece 48 inches by 48 inches (back)
