Step 2: Lay Out the Stacked Stone

Arrange the stacked stone pieces on the floor in a pattern you like. Use spacers to create even gaps between the stones. This will give you an idea of how the final installation will look.

Step 3: Apply Thinset Mortar

Using a notched trowel, apply a layer of thinset mortar to the back of each stacked stone piece. Press the stone firmly into place on the brick surface. Ensure that the stones are level and aligned with each other.

Step 4: Drill and Tap

Drill small holes into the joints between the stacked stones using a masonry drill bit. Tap galvanized nails (1.5 inches) into the holes to secure the stones in place. This provides additional support and prevents the stone from shifting.
